Kevin Isbister

Kevin Isbister is a real estate professional, entrepreneur, and business leader with a passion for recognizing opportunities, creating value, and helping people, businesses, and communities make sound decisions that can build long-term success.

As a real estate professional, Kevin takes a practical, results-driven approach to helping clients buy and sell property. He believes real estate is about much more than a transaction—it is about understanding the opportunity, making informed decisions, and ensuring that the property and financing are right for the individual or family.

Kevin is a proud member of Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation and has a particular interest in helping First Nations people and communities navigate the world of real estate and business. He believes everyone should have access to the knowledge and support needed to make confident financial decisions.

For many First Nations families, purchasing a home can be a significant milestone. For some, it may be the first home their family has ever owned. The process can be unfamiliar and intimidating, particularly when it involves mortgage brokers, lawyers, inspections, contracts, financing, and other professionals.

Kevin's goal is to make that process easier.

Rather than simply helping someone find a house, Kevin believes in standing beside his clients throughout the entire process. He helps them understand their options, evaluate whether a property is the right choice, understand their mortgage and financing, and work with the appropriate professionals to ensure their interests are protected. He believes clients should never feel embarrassed to ask questions or feel pressured into making a decision they don't understand.

Buying a home should be an accomplishment you are proud of—not an experience you are afraid to navigate.

Kevin also serves as the Director of Economic Development for Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, giving him hands-on experience with First Nations economic development, business structures, partnerships, and investment opportunities. Through this work, he has developed a deeper understanding of limited partnerships, general partners, corporations, and the importance of establishing appropriate structures and governance to support successful businesses while managing and protecting the Nation from the inherent risks associated with business and corporate activities.

Kevin understands that a successful business opportunity is not simply about making money. It is about creating the right structure, understanding the risks, protecting the interests of the owners, and building something that can remain successful for years to come.

Beyond real estate, Kevin is actively involved in business development, property development, partnerships, and growing businesses. He enjoys identifying opportunities, improving operations, developing practical plans, and turning ideas into sustainable and profitable ventures.

Family is also central to Kevin's approach. He is a husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather, and understands firsthand that the decisions we make today can affect generations to come. Whether evaluating a home for a family or a business opportunity for a Nation, Kevin looks beyond the immediate transaction and considers the long-term value and future generations.

His philosophy is simple:

Identify the opportunity. Build the plan. Understand the risks. Protect the investment. Execute.

Whether helping a family purchase their first home, assisting an investor in recognizing the potential of a property, or working with a First Nation on a business opportunity, Kevin is committed to being a knowledgeable and trusted partner throughout the process.
